What started as bedroom "sad jangle pop songs" just singing about how sad or miserable I was, things slowly started to change as time went on (both style and direction wise) into the more "psych funk" sound that is shown today! JayWood carries a unique sound that has been entirely self-taught, and manages to combine indie-pop with jazz chords and a psychedelic feel. His music is heart-felt and therapeutic at its core, but hosts a feel-good dance party at live performances.
Set List:
JayWood “Club 3Dx” Single
JayWood “Another Life” Single
JayWood “Quit Your Job” from Somber > Summer EP

She has 3 EP's under her belt, with her full studio album set for release October 12, 2018. After more than four decades of crooked miles, Heather Bishop has deduced that she is an alchemist and metaphysical artist. Her work transforms beliefs while simultaneously rooting you in the truth that magic is afoot. Armed with only her steel string guitar and rich voice she has traveled the world leaving beauty and light in her wake. In 1979 she created one of the first independent music labels in Canada, releasing 15 multi award-winning recordings.
Before launching her career in music, Heather began as a visual artist, studying Fine Arts at the University of Regina. After graduating in 1969, she began a life long love affair with oil paint and, although touring kept her from her easel, she has returned to her wonderland of colours. A published author, her first book, my face is a map of my time here, is a hardcover edition of her artwork. Heather’s most recent recording is entitled The Montreal Sessions.

Mitten Claps is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and consists of brothers Jonathan and Randall Hildebrand. The duo's music is at turns energetic and sparse, spastic and delicate, showcasing intricate guitars and melodic vocals interwoven with unpredictable rhythms.
In 2009, both brothers were musically on their own, after each having played in different previous bands. After aimlessly rehearsing and writing together while hoping for a new band to materialize, they decided it was already fully-formed at two members, and started writing and performing as Mitten Claps.

They call themselves heavy-metal grunge, only because there is no other way to describe their gritty, gut-ripping, brand of stoner rock. The combatant energy this band radiates on stage is one you can’t dismiss. You’ll drop your phone, dig into the old, angsty feelings you thought you left behind, raise your devil horns, and head bang at all things corporate, and unjust. Join the movement that Solhounds represents. one of equality and empowerment. one where a five-foot-three-inch woman could stone a giant with the martial punch of her guttural, spitfire vocals. Sung with her whole body, Elise Roller delivers songs of the underestimated and the under-appreciated.
